ISO-7010 Colour Standards in Factory and Warehouse Marking

International standards are becoming more prevalent for our Warehouse Marking Tape PermaStripe. One of our aims is to always inform our customers of what standards are potentially applicable and to provide some form of detail.

 

What is ISO7010?

 

ISO7010 is the inter­national standard created in 2003 to assist with consistent safety sign regulation across Europe. This regulation concerns workplace safety signs and colour markings for accident prevention, fire protection, health & hazard information and emergency evacuation. Regulations are put in place to help provide a standardized system that is recognized throughout Europe. Permaroute colour standards. Interestingly, the UK didn't adopt this standard until 2013, before then abiding by its own standard, BS 5499. The UK changed to ISO7010 in January that year once the standard became a European Normative (EN) and adopted by European law. We try to choose colors that are vibrant and are a true repre­sen­ta­tion of the colour being neither too dark not too light. We now produce a range of colors that match ISO7010, the colors apply to both rolls and warehouse markers. The colors used are detailed below; •Black - RAL 9004 Signal Black (used on all as repre­sen­ta­tion for black)

 

•Blue - RAL 5005 Signal Blue (used for warehouse markers)

 

•Green - RAL 6032 Signal Green (used for PermaStripe, green/white PermaRoute and warehouse markers)

 

•Red - RAL 3001 Signal Red (used for PermaStripe, red/white PermaRoute and warehouse markers)

 

•White - RAL 9003 Signal White (used for green/white PermaRoute, red/white PermaRoute and warehouse markers)

 

•Yellow - RAL 1003 Signal Yellow (used for PermaStripe, black/yellow PermaRoute and warehouse markers)

H0402H Green & White Tapeline Now Available

A self-adhesive, durable PVC floor tape with a vibrantly colored surface. This is Tapeline in a nutshell, easy to apply and slightly thicker than most floor marking tapes you can buy to cope with the rigors of industrial life. Tapeline? I hear you ask. Why haven’t they talked about it before? I also hear you ask. I’m a keen listener. Well, to put it simply, PermaStripe and PermaRoute are our most popular floor marking tapes, as most people need something thick enough to cope with marking busy aisles, bays and walkways. More often than not with constant forklift traffic flow. Both the aforementioned can really take a pounding and still stand strong. Withstanding scrapes and still marking the area correctly. H0402 Tapeline is for facilities that don’t require that level of demand, and the associated costs that come with PermaStripe and PermaRoute. For areas that simply require basic marking, albeit to 5S standards, Tapeline will do the job perfectly, with all the quick application benefits of our more resilient marking tape.

 

New Tapeline Colour

Green and White Tapeline We have recently introduced another colour to the current range, or colour combination to be precise. Green & White Hazard H0402H. Many customers have requested this colour combination and as always when the demand is high enough, we begin batch production. Along with the new green & white Tapeline, there is also the following colors available for immediate purchase.

 

•Blue

•Black

•Red

•Green

•White

•Yellow

•Red/White Hazard

•Black/Yellow Hazard

 

All rolls are available in 50mm x 30m rolls, but full width 1295mm logs are available (except red/white)

New Floor Markers Available Now!

Did you ever dream that Scandic Coating would deliver this class leading PermaStripe and PermaRoute range of heavy duty aisle marking products in smaller shapes to make them even more competitive?  Of course you did!  Well that wish has come true!  Many customers do not want the large format L-shapes, crosses etc. but instead something larger and importantly that has a uniform width of 50mm so it does not vary from the most popular roll width dimension.

The popular shapes and dimensions we now have available are;

We offer various warehouse markers, from pre-printed and custom signs, to pallet markers. The rest of the PermaStripe and PermaRoute pallet markers and shapes can be seen here. As some work with smaller scale items or in smaller working environments, large bay and aisle markers aren't required. Giving customers the opportunity to acquire smaller, more discreet markers that still have high-visibility is an option that for us at Scandic Coating was easy to do. As always, if the demand is high enough, then we are more than happy to provide what the customers want.

 

We are always focused on serving your needs the best way possible, and dependent on order quantity, we can create many size rolls and die-cuts within certain tolerances, and colors matching Pantone or RAL references.

We go through a lot of material here at Scandic Coating. We may also discontinue products for one reason or another. While the items and products may not be suitable for the intended customer for one reason or another, it doesn’t mean they won’t be for others. For this reason, we have decided to make these available to other customers with significant discounts on our normal prices. There is nothing wrong with the material or products in question. They are still grade-A and we do not intend to offer anything less than that. We feel that rather than let these be put into storage never to see the light of day again, we want to give other customers the opportunity to make use of them instead. This is a great opportunity for you to get your hands on some low-cost, high-quality anti-slip or floor marking products.

Scandic Coating Floor Markers & Safety Signs

Here we announce our floor markers and safety signs. A range of durable, self-adhesive signs, constructed from an industrial grade plastic to cope with the demands of warehouse and factory use. They are effective in the use of highlighting safety notifications and restrictions for specific areas in buildings, helping to reduce accidents in the workplace. The message displayed on each sign is printed directly on to the surface, and then a top laminate is applied over the top to protect it, and prevent it from wearing out. Once applied, Scandic Coating's floor safety markers are ready for use immediately.
